Bank Handlowy Brokerage House (DMBH) is Most Active Broker on Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2009

Bank Handlowy Brokerage House has been awarded two Awards of the President of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. The first award was received for “the highest share in the main market turnover, excluding market makers’ transactions in 2009” and the second for “the highest market makers’ activity in the main market in 2009”.

Last year, DMBH executed trades whose total value exceeded PLN 45 billion, which resulted in 12,8 percent market share in the stock exchange’s turnover.

The Most Active 2009 Broker Award was handed out to Witol Stepien and Tomasz Ossig by the President of the Stock Exchange Ludwik Sobolewski and the President of the Management Board of the Chamber of Brokers, Maria Dobrowolska. The ceremony took place on February 17 in Arkady Kubickiego in Warsaw.

The Most Active Broker Award was not the only distinction for Bank Handlowy Brokerage House in 2009. DMBH was listed first in the brokerage houses category in the ranking based on institutional investors’ opinions, published by Forbes. back
