TIPS ON HOW TO BUILD A POSITIVE CREDIT HISTORY
- Pay at least the minimum payment due on time, every month.
- Don’t overextend yourself. The fewer accounts you have open –whether they are loans or credit cards – the better.
- Don’t spend income now that you hope to make later.
- Notify creditors when you move so that bills arrive on time.
- Set up a standing order for your loan. You will be a 100% sure that your next payment will be made on time.
- Use the online banking platform regularly. Monitor your finances using transaction lists and online statements.
